Overview

Picaius ("we," "our," or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data We Collect

Account Information: If you sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple User ID and, optionally, your name and email address (which Apple may relay).
Subscription Data: Purchase and subscription status is managed by Apple's App Store and RevenueCat. We receive entitlement status but not payment details.
Usage Analytics: We may collect anonymized usage statistics (e.g., which tools are most used) to improve the app. No personal data is included.

Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not access, upload, or store your photos or projects unless you explicitly use cloud sync (Pro feature).
All core editing, including AI background removal, happens on your device.
We do not sell your data to third parties.

AI Features

On-device AI features (background removal) process images locally on your iPhone using Apple's Vision framework. No images are sent to our servers for free-tier features.

Pro AI features (generative fill, scene generation) send image data to our secure servers for processing. Images are deleted within 24 hours of processing.

Third-Party Services

Apple (Sign in with Apple): Authentication provider.
RevenueCat: Subscription management.
Cloudflare: API hosting and CDN.

Data Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. You can request deletion by emailing support@picai.us.

Children's Privacy

Picaius is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted here with an updated date.
